Kelly-Lynn

Kelly-Lynn hosts her own radio show.
Press release.
GOING GLOBAL WITH KELLY-LYNN!
TEEN SINGING SENSATION HITS THE AIRWAVES WITH
HER OWN RADIO SHOW FEATURING EXCITING NEW TALENT!
It's not often that the result of your first venture in a recording studio gets
radio play all around the country as an independent artist.
But thats exactly what happened to young singing sensation Kelly-Lynn at the
tender
age of 12.
Listeners were immediately struck by the beautiful quality of her voice - so
sweet
and pure it touched people's lives in a deeply personal way.
Everyone wanted to know: who is this amazing singer?
From a humble home in central Florida, a little girl began to wow audiences
around
the south eastern United States. The massive appeal of her angel-like voice
helped
to garner Kelly-Lynn international attention and set her on the path to fame - a
hard
earned break she will never forget.
Now 17, Kelly-Lynn's career has taken an unexpected turn and provided her with
the
opportunity to give something back to other kids who also are following their
dreams
to stardom.
The talented teen star hosts a new radio show called "Going Global" with
Kelly-Lynn every Saturday night on the popular www.xradio.biz/kidstalk station
(from
5.00-7.00PM pacific standard time USA).
"As we go along we will be bringing you the very best independent Kid music from
around the world and having a lot of fun!," says Kelly-Lynn. "I love doing the
show and working with such exciting new talent!"
"I would like to help give other talented artists a platform and an opportunity
to be heard," explains Kelly-Lynn. "This is what I am trying to do with my radio
show. I think kids that are doing great, positive music should be given the chance to be
heard."
And it's not only the performers Kelly-Lynn is reaching out to - but the growing audience
of her popular show.
"The kids are the future so we should try to give them really good music to
listen to so that the world will become a better place."
Kelly-Lynn is pleased to support WATF (We Are The Future), an International song project
that helps to showcase new music which reflects all cultures and appeals to everyone with
the one common goal of uniting all people in the world through the power of song and
words.
Kelly-Lynn is a rare breed of artist who is comfortable performing a variety of
different styles of music. Classical, jazz, R&B, pop and light rock are all handled
with amazing precision in her own unique style. She has earned music industry accolades
from around the world. Kelly-Lynn brings a new fresh sound to the music scene as she
continues on her journey from gifted teen star to internationally known superstar.
She has worked with some of the finest musicians from around the world,
including Louise Ryan (Charlotte Church's vocal coach), UK composer Paul Weston, guitarist
Nigel Jenkins (Gerry Rafferty, Cliff Richard), Ron Dante (Archies, Barry Manilow),and
recently recorded with Walt Disney Records.
From radio to television to churches, Kelly-Lynn's music has already touched many lives.
Her sound is fresh and exciting and draws from a variety of influences.
Gifted with an extraordinary and magical voice that makes your skin tingle and a
mesmerizing stage presence, she is in her element doing what she loves best - performing
live!
But it's all in a days work for the LA-based teenager who tries hard to balance her busy
career with a settled home-schooled life and studies. Something her fans can easily
identify with in this friendly, down-to-earth all-around-entertainer with endearing
girl-next-door appeal.
The growing number of dedicated fans to Kelly-Lynn's music page on the popular people
networking site MySpace is testimony to the young stars massive universal appeal, and has
already seen many new Kelly-Lynn fan pages springing up on the site as far away as Canada
and Japan.
The way this talented teen has handled her success so far, suggests Kelly-Lynn has got
what it takes to build a career as an international artist.
This rising star is definitely "Going Global" as she gets ready to take
the music world by storm!

Steve, Dave and Van have recently been recording tracks for the upcoming album from Sarah
Spencer, the talented teen vocalist Steve's been writing and recording with. Although Dave

album will be mostly acoustic, but much of it defies a label. The main goal is to make
beautiful music that suits Sarah's incredible vocals.

Holly Holyoake

Taken from "This is Gwent" Newspaper article.
SHE is only 18 but Newport teenager Holly Holyoake has already won a clutch of awards for
an extraordinary voice that has impressed from her home city to Hollywood. Jane Helmich
meets the up-and-coming soprano...
WHEN Holly Holyoake walked out to sing during half-time at a Newport Gwent Dragons match
just before Christmas, many in the crowd who had not heard her before were expecting the
usual pop performance from yet another young hopeful.
So they were astounded when the most incredible voice filled Rodney Parade, all coming
from the tiny figure in the middle of the pitch singing carols.
Just a few months later, Holly was asked to perform before another rugby audience.
This time, stepping in at almost the last minute to replace the acclaimed Katherine
Jenkins, it was to sing the national anthem, with tens of thousands of spectators crammed
into the Millennium Stadium, before Wales' final Six Nations match against France.
Holly proved to be the right choice and it could be another step towards her becoming as
renowned as Ms Jenkins and Wales' other songbird, Charlotte Church.
As her training continued, her voice became more powerful, and she continued to give
public performances, making regular appearances with Caldicot Choir.
As well singing the anthem at the Millennium Stadium last month, highlights include
releasing her first album in 2005, performing Ave Maria on stage with classical star
Hayley Westenra and winning a prestigious competition in the United States.
She was the only person representing the UK among thousands of entrants at the World
Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood last year but she was garlanded with
honours.
As well as winning the gold award in the open category, singing I'll Walk With God, she
also took bronze in both the opera and Broadway musical sections.
She has also been lauded by fans of legendary Italian-American tenor Mario Lanza, another
of her musical heroes, and met his son Damon. She sang at the Mario Lanza Ball in
Philadelphia and received an award "for blending love of Mario Lanza and devotion to
Belcanto".
Holly's immediate future includes a private concert with Vittorio Grigolo at Broadcasting
House, BBC Wales, on April 24, and an appearance at the Trevethin Festival in St Cadoc's
Church, Pontypool, on April 28. She is also hoping to record another album.
Vittorio's new album is currently number 54 in the UK album charts."
Myself ,Nigel and Al have submitted new songs for consideration for Holly's new CD
album.More news soon.
Holly Holyoake

News report.
"SHE has the voice of an angel, recorded her first album at 15 and wowed them in
Hollywood - but Holly Holyoake is facing one of her biggest gigs yet tomorrow.
Eighteen-year-old Holly, of Duffryn, Newport, will sing the national anthem before Wales
play France at the Millennium Stadium.
After successfully performing in front of the crowds at the Wales under-21 matches in
Newport this season, the soprano was asked to stand in for Katherine Jenkins who was
originally due to sing before the final Six Nations clash.
Holly's extraordinary talent has won recognition in the United States as well as this
country.
She was the only British entrant in the World Championships of Performing Arts in
Hollywood last year and walked away with gold in the open category and bronze in the opera
and broadway musical categories.
A video of her singing I Vow to Thee My Country, which impressed the judges in America,
was shown on Classic FM TV.
"Holly steps in for anthem challenge"
Mar 15 2006
Molly Watson, Western Mail
RISING Welsh singer Holly Holyoake will lead the nation in singing the national anthem
when Wales play France on Saturday.
In doing so the 18-year-old, who last year topped a Western Mail poll of Wales' sexiest
women, will follow in the footsteps of stars like Charlotte Church and Katherine Jenkins.
Holly, who won a gold medal in the world championships of performing arts in Hollywood,
was asked to stand in for Jenkins, who had to cancel at the last minute.
She said, "It's mad. I found out yesterday when I was at work. My Mum sent me a text
message saying that Rupert Moon had asked me to sing. It's so exciting, I was like, 'Oh my
God'."
But Holly is well practised for the role, having already spent the season singing at the
Under-21 Six Nations games. She said she's not scared of performing in front of such a big
crowd, and is proud to be singing for Wales.
"The Under-21 games have gone really well and there's always been a nice big crowd,
but nothing like there will be on Saturday. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm quite
honoured to be asked. I never thought I would get the chance, at least not for a few
years.
"My Mum and Dad are very proud. Mum said she nearly started crying when she found
out."
With only two days to go before the game, Holly said she'll spend the time studying the
words to the anthem and trying to keep control of her nerves.
She said, "It does make me a bit nervous to be singing for the last home match of the
championship but I think the nerves can be a good thing.
"I think the anthem great. It gets everybody going, and especially at a match with
everyone singing, accompanied by a crowd of thousands."

Holly Holyoake biography and video on Classic FM TV
"Dubbed Newport's answer to Charlotte Church, Holly Holyoake's remarkable talent and
increasing public profile has catapulted the young soprano into the international
spotlight.
Debuting aged twelve at the Newport Philharmonic Choir's Annual Spring Concert, Holly has
performed at numerous events, garnering massive public support and increasing visibility
in the classical music industry.
Inspired by legendary Italian -American tenor, Mario Lanza, Holly's passion for her art
remains steadfast in spite of a demanding schedule. Increasing demand for Holly to
perform, both in the UK and internationally, and her academic commitments means at
seventeen, Holly has matured far beyond her years.
Following her international debut at the 41st Mario Lanza Ball in Philadelphia in 2002,
Holly, as the sole representative for the United Kingdom, won gold at the World
Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles.
In 2004, testament to increasing recognition of her outstanding ability, Holly was invited
to perform a duet at the North Wales Theatre, Llandudno with internationally renowned
classical artist, Hayley Westenra.
"I was thrilled to perform with Hayley. She's an inspiration to me . to stand on the
same stage as your idol and perform . is a once-in-a-lifetime-experience."
At seventeen, Holly continues to expand her repertoire, encompassing a wide variety of
musical genres, captured in part, on her 2002 debut release, 'When Dreams have Wings'.

"World Championships of performing Arts"

Holly has been invited, and has accepted, to represent the UK at the World Championships
of the Performing Arts in Hollywood, USA. The championships, which are the Olympics of the
performing arts world, will be held between 6th and 14th August, 2005. Holly will be
competing in 5 categories:
1) World Music
2) Opera
3) Broadway/Musical
4) Pop (popular, of the tuneful variety)
5) Open
WHAT IS THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF PERFORMING ARTS?

For centuries, there has been an exclusive Olympics for athletes excluding any
non-sport activity or other prestigious type of achievement. This discriminatory practice
is being corrected especially for the revered universe of performing artists by the
successful creation of the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA),
cited as the one and only official Talent Olympics for aspiring performers and
entertainers. After eight years of incredible growth, it is the only premier international
talent and modeling competition of its kind annually held in Hollywood, the
entertainment capital of the world! Similar to the Olympics, only invited and qualified
competitors representing countries compete each year in a fierce competition for the
gold!

Prince Charles, Lady Camilla and Holly

Prince Charles, Lady Camilla and Holly
2005 has been an eventful year for Holly, and the year is by no means at an end. Work on
her video of "I Vow to Thee my Country" for Classic FM TV is nearing completion,
and not long after Holly recorded the video on location in London she went with her
parents to Hollywood as the sole UK representative at the World Championships of
Performing Arts (WCOPA). This covers a wide span of genres and is well subscribed by over
40 countries including for example Russia and South Africa. Before she went she received
the endorsement of Prince Charles and Lady Camilla in the form of a friendly letter on
their behalf wishing her every success in her endeavours and passing on their good wishes
for the WCOPA.
Holly more than lived up to all expectations. This year she competed among around three
thousand acts and came away with a gold medal (for her rendition of "I'll Walk with
God" - anyone who has seen her sing that live will know why !) and two bronzes. We
have many reasons to be proud of her: she was well spotted by many people in the Industry
who were amazed by her glorious voice and personal charisma. Holly is one of those
performers who does not have to do anything overt to exude confidence and hold an
audience.
The experience was one that Holly found positive, stimulating and beneficial. She met many
contestants from all over the world, saw many different kinds of acts including piano and
dance and made many new friends. She has gained an insight into the artistic culture,
approach and emphasis in the US. The Holyoakes became accustomed to highly complimentary
remarks about Holly's talent which was clearly perceived as very outstanding.
None of this will surprise anyone who has been fortunate enough to witness Holly on form
as a soloist in one of the various concerts she has supported, such as the Caldicot Choir.
Indeed at one such recent perfomance just before she went to Hollywood she caused three
standing ovations.
Let us all anticipate that this wonderful UK talent that has been so carefully and
arduously nurtured since she was only eleven is about to be much more widely shared.

Details of broadcast date coming soon.
Introducing Holly Holyoake.
.jpg)
Regular visitors to this web site will know that I feature new guest artists who I
would like to work with in the future.
Presenting Miss "Holly Holyoake"

"With each new season comes the hope of a new discovery that will bring forth a
singer with special qualities and talent. Recently such an occurrence did in fact take
place. Holly Holyoake, a then twelve year old soprano from Wales, watched a video of a
Mario Lanza film with her grandmother and became inspired by the great tenors
performance of the Ave Maria. She knew then that she wanted to be a singer.
One day while she was singing along with Lanzas recordings of that most beautiful of
all sacred songs her parents heard the duet and became aware of their
daughters talent. Miss Holyoake wanted to pay tribute to Lanza and show her appreciation
so she sent a tape of her duet with his recording of the Ave Maria to his son
Damon.
Holly, now fourteen, has already begun to make a name for herself by appearing on several
international radio programs and also by making some personal appearances. She recently
made her American debut in Philadelphia by performing to great acclaim during the 41st
Annual Mario Lanza Ball weekend. One of the highlights of that weekend was when Holly sang
the Ave Maria to Lanzas recording in the very church where he made his
first public appearance singing the very same sacred piece at the age of fifteen. Miss
Holyoake has also received praise from many in the music world including Kathryn Grayson,
Al Martino, Daniel Rodriguez and Hayley Westenra.
(Picture of Holly and Hayley.)
.jpg)
Her constantly expanding repertoire encompasses a wide variety of musical genres
ranging from the simplest of songs to the most beautiful of arias and she brings to them
her own individual style and charm.
For those who have yet to experience this exciting young singer awaits a very special
treat, They will encounter a voice of beauty and warmth with a powerful upper register and
will find it hard to believe that she is only in her early teens. The future should be
very promising for this young artist, as she undoubtedly make great strides in her vocal
development and continue to give great pleasure to those who are privileged to hear
her."
Bill Ronayne.
2003.
Holly's first album "Angel with wings" was released to critical acclaim and was
produced and recorded in Wales by Al Steele.

Holly has recently sang with Hayley Westenra at Cardiff St Davids Hall and at Llandudno
Theatre,North Wales.

Holly has such an exciting future ahead and her talents will soon be enjoyed by a
"World audience."

Following Charlotte on their way to the stars Sep 20 2004
Staff Reporter, The Western Mail
SHE has devoted her life to teaching Welsh children how to sing and her most famous
student is Charlotte Church.
Now the talents of Louise Ryan's latest proteges will be showcased during a special gala
concert this week, which will feature some orchestral background music from Charlotte's
latest album.
And Louise is just as proud of the young singers as she is of the Cardiff teenage soprano
who has gone on to top the album charts and become a multi-millionaire.
"I always knew I would lose Charlotte once she turned 18," says Louise, who
teaches from her home in Cardiff.
"I expected her to go to university, but it looks like I taught her too well how to
sing!
"I'm extremely proud of her."
Louise was Charlotte's voice coach for several years and was instrumental in helping her
produce her first album, Voice Of An Angel, when she was just 12.
Her current students say they are proud to be coached by the woman who taught Charlotte.
Many of them have met the famous singer because Charlotte keeps in touch with her former
voice coach.
Does Louise think she has any new Charlottes in the making among her current students?
"No one can ever fill Charlotte's shoes, she was special.
"But I can think of a few who have what it takes to make it as a professional
singer," she says.
Louise has selected some of her promising future song birds to appear in the gala concert
this week.
"All my students are talented singers so it was hard to pick half of them for the
concert.
"I made the decision using my gut feeling," she says.
"There was something magic in their singing that touched my heart. The other half of
my students are preparing for the next production."
The concert, A Gala Concert of Beautiful Voices, takes place at the Conwy Road Methodist
Church in Canton on Friday.
"The title gives the impression that the concert is only classical music, but there
will be a great mix of music and styles. Songs from the West End and Broadway, traditional
Welsh and Irish folk songs, gospel, jazz and opera are all on the programme.
"There are also some original items and Charlotte has given me permission to use some
of her orchestral backgrounds from her latest album."
Louise has devoted many hours of hard work in the past couple of months organising and
preparing her students for the concert, which will raise money for charity.
"All of the money from the concert will go to the church's development fund,"
she says. The church hopes to build a much-needed disabled access and needs £20,000.
Louise's dream is to take her voice coaching one step further and start a school for
children aged eight to 21. "I hope one day to have my own premises and turn it into a
small school where I can teach children the art of song, dance and drama," she says.
"It's nothing but a distant dream though as I will need funding from Welsh businesses
to be able to afford it."

"Peter introduced the second of tonight's audition winners. This time it was a
four piece vocal group called 'Bac 2 Bac'. They were to perform a pop song called 'Fools
Gold' and the composer was apparently there in the audience. It was another very polished
performance. The standard of the auditions must indeed have been very high if the two
examples we saw were anything to go by."

Peter Karrie Show
On 17th September 2003 Bac2Bac joined the other
86 acts auditioning for the Peter Karrie and Friends show at the Swansea Grand
Theatre. By all accounts it was a chaotic afternoon for all concerned, but by 6
oclock two acts were selected to perform in the show that night and Bac2Bac were one
of them. There was then a flurry of phonecalls around South Wales, tickets were
reserved in far corners of the upper circle, and numerous supporters jumped into cars to
travel from Ebbw Vale, Cardiff, Llanelli and Resolven. It was a great night with a
varied programme. Bac2Bac were on in the second half just before Charlotte
Church!

future, to resolve!!, its a strong message .
The first performance of the song and press call was at the Princess Royal Theatre,
